Once logged in, this is the first screen that you will see. It contains some major BadgeBox functionalities such as clock-in/out at the beggining and at the end of a work day. Therefore, bellow we will explain all the possible ways in which a clock-in and clock-out can be done in order to track time.
In order to fulfill several different needs there are three principal modes for collecting attendance data:
• The first mode offers having a virtual office in every place. This means that an employee does not have to be in the office to punch the hour. Each place can become a work place. In this case, clocking work time is being made using GPS that registers check-in/out position. This way of clocking work time is ideal for freelancers, representatives etc. If an employee has been assigned a work location, upon clocking, the system will record the GPS position (if GPS is enabled on the device). In the case in which GPS is disabled, it will not be possible to register clocking location. This means that the clock-in/out will be registered but there will also be a note saying that it was not possible to confirm the location upon clocking.
• The use of the NFC technology and personalized NFC stickers is the second mode for clocking work hours. Each employee gets his own NFC sticker that has to be placed in a certain place and the attendance data is being collected once a user passes with his smartphone above personalized sticker.
• Another way of collecting atendance data is an installation of a fixed clocking device, so-called clock-in station, to be placed at the entrance of the office or given to team leaders. In this case, each employee obtains personal code that has to be used for clocking work time. There are several ways in which an employee can clock-in and clock-out: an employee can punch the hour inserting his/ her personal code into a fixed clocking device, using QR code for clocking or passing his/her smartphone close by the clocking position while being logged in BadgeBox.
• However, some companies prefer using manual clocking time mode. This is why there is a possibility to enable a manual mode for clocking. In this case an employee can insert manually his attendance data and correct them in case of an error. In order to enable manual clocking, the administrator needs to go to the section “Company” and select between: within 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 days. This is also a place where the administrator can eventually disable manual clocking.
All this modes for clocking work time allow to have a detailed attendance review, time and place control, as well as task and cost control.
As you can see in the picture, in this section, we have information related to clock-in, clock-out, track mode, locations, To Do lists, tasks and scheme related to work days.
To Do lists are a handy way of managing daily tasks. There is a possibilty to create a To Do group and share it with other colleagues. This means that each employee can see its own To Do lists and the ones that are being shared with him. All the information is in real time which means that if one employee completes a certain To Do, all users with whom that To Do group has been shared, will be notified.
